The Chandler Limited Germanium Pre Amp/DI features a unique design by Wade Goeke, utilizing classic germanium transistors in an all class A, transformer-balanced circuit. This preamp offers a warm, organic sound with a vintage character reminiscent of early Neve, EMI, Telefunken, and Fairchild designs. Running on +40V power with high current, it provides a substantial +34dB output before clipping. The Germanium Pre Amp/DI employs custom wound transformers inspired by St Ives and Gardners models, ensuring a smooth sound that integrates seamlessly into any track. Requires the PSU-1 power supply.
