Ground Lift

A ground lift is an electrical device designed to eliminate ground loops that cause hums and buzzes in audio or video equipment. By breaking the ground connection in a circuit, it prevents unintended currents from flowing through connected devices. Commonly used on audio mixers, amplifiers, and similar gear, ground lifts are activated as needed to address noise issues.
